Rescued by their Wife (Wings of Artemis, #2) by Rebecca Royce Rescued by their Wife was released a few weeks back and I loved it. This ends the duet-series!

Also bk 2 Keeping My Pack (My Pack, #2) by Lane Whitt Keeping My Pack is out!

Alyson (glynnbugg) | 16 comments I can't link the book on my phone BUT! I just finished Broken Trouble by Kristen Billups and really liked it. It's only the start of a series but... it doesn't really have a cliffie. Nothing to explicit in it but it's still "erotic" in some ways. Just depends on your definition. Either way, I enjoyed it. =]

She's the housekeeper/cook at a cowboy ranch with 5 'men'. Hahaha!

Oh yeah, that was the one, the guys were so good to h, except for that one guy, I remember he was a jerk to the H, I'll defly have to revisit the book, glad you enjoyed it Alyson.

Hope this author writes more great menages, her books have such a fun vibe!

I heard Hoax (The Scarab Beetle, #5) by C.L. Stone Hoax is due out October end...can't wait - though Kayli does rub me wrong at times!

message 64: by Alyson (new)

Alyson (glynnbugg) | 16 comments October 17th last I heard. she rubs me wrong as well... While Sang come off a "little" weak willed, I can understand it. Kayli just seems.... shady? at times. I'm not sure exactly how I feel about her yet.

message 65: by Rae (new)

Rae (littlemonkeyninja) Ya I'm not a fan of her either, to the point I stopped after the 2nd book.

message 66: by Talltree (new)

Talltree | 121 comments Mod
In First Kiss there's a part where Kayli is arguing with the Academy committee, she just seemed so divisive and argumentative...forget about trusting the Academy, I'd have hoped she'd at least have trusted her guys:(
Anyway I think CL wrote an MC like Kayli bcos she wanted a break from writing Sang - who even though amazing, can be too good to believe at times!!

message 67: by Alyson (new)

Alyson (glynnbugg) | 16 comments Lol! I had the same thought. She needed someone more outspoken and tough but took it too extreme. Sang seems kind of tedious in her self confidence though it's believable in her background of abuse. idk.... We'll see.

message 68: by Alyson (new)

Alyson (glynnbugg) | 16 comments Whoops... I'm on my cell so I can't edit that but I hope it still made sense.

message 69: by Talltree (last edited Sep 05, 2016 10:34AM) (new)

Talltree | 121 comments Mod
Lol, yes it makes sense. Sang is more likeable - and her innocence does make sense to an extent given her sheltered existence - but I'm sticking with Kayli for now. Its challenging to identify with such an unlikeable MC, but its still refreshing to find heroines who are not perfect or always show their 'nice' faces.

I read

As the Crow Flies (Book 19 in the Godhunter Series) by Amy Sumida and Crashing Into Destiny (Wings of Artemis, #3) by Rebecca Royce and Hoax (The Scarab Beetle, #5) by C.L. Stone - all RH- this month and loved them!

Lead Heart (Seraph Black, #3) by Jane Washington was a bit lame though.

This month was great for RH new releases and I'm hungover and want more of them to read!! Sara Page has said the last instalment of the Ravager Chronicles is due November so waiting for that:)

I have Lead Heart on my Kindle and have been waiting to read it. I've heard that it's a bit of a let down from other people as well so I'm taking my time getting around to it. LoL So bad... In other news, the new Academy book is postponed until December...

message 72: by Talltree (new)

Talltree | 121 comments Mod
Oh is that Black and Green? I really enjoyed Hoax - Kayli stopped being such a closed beyotch and started being honest with the guys, it was refreshing!

December is also when Wings of Artemis 4 will be releasing, so that means 2 RH books for that month, yay!

message 73: by Alyson (new)

Alyson (glynnbugg) | 16 comments So I have no idea how to link a book that hasn't been released yet since I'm on my phone. BUT! C.L Stone just announced she grouped up with other reverse harem authors for a collection coming out in December. It's 99 cents to pre-order and called Falling for Them.

Wow, thanks Alyson and Laura!! Pre ordering it now....hope they're all truly brand new stories ...and who are those RH authors, I've never heard of some of them before?!

For fans of the GodHunter series, Amy Sumida has done character sketches of prominent characters in the series with pics that are bang on:

http://www.amysumida.com/category/god...

I loved Odin,Arach and Re the most - they were so hot!!! Trevor and Azrael look boyfriend-cute and Kirrill is kind of scary-lion looking. Of the supporting cast I found Anubis brooding/sizzling;)

This book released last week:

Fallen Elemental (Evelyn Storm Series Book 1) by Tamara White Fallen Elemental

Blurb:
This book is Reverse Harem and contains sexual situations. Recommended for readers 18 years and older
I thought I was human. I thought I could finish school, leave my abusive parents and my old life behind. I was wrong. I’m an elemental and I can use not just one element but all of them. That’s not all though, I can control lightning. No elemental is able to control lightning but I'm not just any elemental. A prophecy has marked me as the ultimate power.

- haven't read it yet, but sounds promising!

- book 3.5 in the Stardust series is to be released Dec 1st and is available for preorder!

Okay, quite a few RH books were out this month.

I read and liked Chamaeleon (The Stardust Series, #3.5) by Autumn Reed Chamaeleon.

I also read Falling For Them by CL Stone Falling For Them and liked most of the (10) RH stories. Loved the one by Amy Sumida, but surprisingly wasn't that keen on the CL Stone one, but thats just my opinion.

Another RH book released was Finding Honor by Ripley Proserpina Finding Honor which I haven't tried but the reviews seem okay.

Songbird book 2 was released Splitting Seconds: Songbird Series: Book Two as was Spearwood Book 2.5 Spearwood Book 2.5 by A.S. Oren .

Also Trying To Live With The Dead (The Veil Diaries Series Book 1) by B.L. Brunnemer Trying To Live With The Dead is supposedly RH. I enjoyed the book where h befriends 5 guys, but they were all platonic - h was interested in some random guy while the guys were dating/interested in other girls. Hopefully bk2 has some romance. The worldbuilding was interesting though.

If I don't chat with you all again, heres wishing everyone here and our beloved RH authors a wonderful new year and happy holidays!!

I just learned about the book "Trying To Live With The Dead" too. I heard that the author said that it definitely is a true RH and will have more RH elements in the next book. :)

Hi guys!
I just want to ask if you've heard of The Caller Of The Blood by Anna McIlwraith?

Only 4 books so far but it's great..Not much into cliffhangers. Romance is a bit slow, but there's a bunch of protective alphas there..

message 87: by Rae (new)

Rae (littlemonkeyninja) I love this series, I think it's call "Wild Rites Saga" now.

Yupyup That's the name :)

I'm currently at the 3rd book and I can really compare this series to The Raven Investigation by Stacey Brutger and Anita Blake (Really really slow pace for me but just the right amount of sweetness to make the readers appreciate the book without all the characters going wild with sex even if the protagonist's abilities rely on them.

Brittain *Needs a Nap and a Drink* (bwilliams2013) Has Sixes and Sevens been added to GR yet?

Yes, did you mean Sixes and Sevens by GE Kelly? Its been on GR for a while I think. On another note I noticed bk2 in this series is set to be released in Mar'17.

Yeah! I've read it to and it's great to have the protagonist know much more than the guys unlike in most books where they keep secrets in order to "protect".

message 95: by Cece (new)

Cece Rose (cheskiturtle) | 15 comments Hey guys, I haven't read it yet, since it's not released but Trickery by Jaymin Eve and Jane Washington is set for release late next month and that will be RH with 5 guys I believe :) - As someone who already loves both of the authors I'm super excited. I'll update once read it to let you all know if it was as good as I hope!

message 96: by Rena (new)

Rena | 12 comments Sounds great! I also really like Jane Washington's books so far, so I am looking forward to it :)

Book 2 of "The Veil Diaries Series" will be released in January 26th. The synopsis says "...Things for once are almost normal, my issues with the dead had become routine. Until they all found girlfriends. Now I’m back to hiding everything again. With ghosts leaving their haunting grounds at will, and new people asking questions...."
The girlfriends part kind of made me cringe. Well, soon we will know how that turns out ;)

message 97: by Talltree (new)

Talltree | 121 comments Mod
Oh wow Rena, that made me cringe too, and no wonder the girlfriends are asking questions, what a mess! Hopefully that part won't drag out long...

Cheski Rose, looking forward to reading what you think of Trickery - heard good things about Jaymin Eve!

Rena. I'm super excited to read Book 2 of the Veil series.... I've only got till midnight to wait now! (I'm on UK time, so it's like 10am at the moment) I'm probably gonna just stay up and devour the thing.

Also, do we have a full list of RH books anywhere?
