To Chapter 4: (view spoiler)[I think it is clear to see where this is going, but it's making me anxious and I'm along for the ride. Logan clearly has issues, the way he thinks about Delilah, like when he is spying on her through her window and he's like, she better be careful, some creep is going to come along and take advantage...like, pot meet kettle!
And then Delilah, I can't help but be so angry at her Mom. She works in tech, has plenty of money, is a grown woman, with her own home and daughter to worry about, but she still let his abusive man into their lives and now she is going to marry him!? Excuse me, what?! She gives him her substantial paychecks!? Lady, what the frick? (hide spoiler)]

And then to have Logan come along and start preying on her as well. And he's soooo delusional. Ok this Logan kid is seriously messed up. His obsession with Delilah went from 0 to 100 in like 2 seconds. I wonder if he had something to do with the girl Sophie's death? And omg, Delilah accidentally killing Brandon like that with the car? That's crazy!

Damn, now Logan is blackmailing Delilah to be with him. He was doing so well on the date and then messed it up right near the end. I kind of want to see Delilah play along until she can get the video and destroy it.

You know, I can't find myself feeling bad about Delilah drugging Logan. I mean this dude is blackmailing her to be with him after she just got free from her last abuser. Also Delilah being a drug dealer is out there but I get why she started doing it, money to get way from Brandon. I'm interested to see how everything plays out and if she manages to get free of Logan.

Chapters 1-5" Hahahahaha, totally couldn't blame her. Wow, we both flew through this. It was an easy read. I definitely had fun with it. I like the commentary Sutanto made at the end regarding (view spoiler)[like what makes a villain. Like we all hated Logan, and he totally deserved it, as well as Brandon, also more than deserved, but Delilah was also a murderer, a drug dealer, framed people for her crimes, lied to her closest friends and family and got away with it all. She only was able to get away with it due to being so calculating and smart. So she truly was the most devious of them all, but bad things for good reasons? Does that excuse it? But I would say anyone who read this would say, good for her! I'm so glad she got away with it all, but it is interesting food for thought! (hide spoiler)]

I'm glad we read this one, Melanie! Always feels good to cross off something that's been on your TBR for a long time!
