Ralph | 1 comments This is relevant to those of us who listen via audible.com, and use a (pre-Amazon purchase) login BY NAME.
Newer accounts must use their Amazon eMail login; this does not apply to those listeners.

If you are one of the users this applies to, and you use bookmarks and make comments, be aware that if you switch over to an amazon login, you will lose all your saved info for all your books!

The following is what I recently sent to the address below, on a follow up of earlier (and frustrating) back-n-forth emails on this topic.

You might also try, (might work): exec-relations@audible.com

I have nearly 400 books on Audible care of my NAME login.
I'm sure you have hundreds of accounts in the same situation.

You have told us that when we switch to an eMail login we will lose all bookmarks and comments in our library.

THAT is the issue.

It would be nice if you
GET MANAGERS TO APPROVE BUDGET FOR DATA CONVERSION OF BOOKMARKS AND COMMENTS FOR EXISTING NAME LOGIN CUSTOMERS.

Please assign someone to covert from an old format to your newer database.

I'm a techie who has worked at Amazon, but not in this department.

I'm hoping that if enough people make noise, they will respond and assign an engineer to this.

They have our login-by name bookmarks and comments in some form. It grows as we add this info in our audio books,,
and they obviously are using a different database for their login-by-eMail accounts.

They just need to apply some time and money to solve a problem that I feel is significant to me and others.

Thanks,
Ralph
