Take a look back at your reading accomplishments for October. Any stand-out titles? What were your favorite middle grade reads for the month?

My own selections for October were definitely influenced by the season. I finished the The Witch Boy trilogy of graphic novels as part of a Halloween read-along, and I thoroughly enjoyed my return to Greenglass House in Ghosts of Greenglass House, which is the second book in the series.

The Witch Boy (The Witch Boy, #1) by Molly Ostertag The Hidden Witch (The Witch Boy, #2) by Molly Ostertag The Midwinter Witch (The Witch Boy, #3) by Molly Ostertag Ghosts of Greenglass House (Greenglass House #2) by Kate Milford

I read another Eoin Colfer book that was pretty fun (and it's only $0.99) was his new series "The Fowl Twins." The first book was great, my kiddos loved it, and I was able to pull off an Irish accent for the entire book.

Ellen | 15 comments I read two good middle grade books in October:
a sequel - Iggy Is Better Than Ever by Annie Barrows and
the start of a new series - Rise of ZomBert by Kara La Reau
