I use a Paperwhite. Is a bit of an old one though so I took a look on my Kindle Reader on my PC and found the same problem there as well. Hope that info helps you.

I'm just an ordinary member not a moderator. This is my second review round. You can only join in when the review round has "Now Forming" in the title - 10 authors seems to be the usual round robin number. Once there are ten, and everyone is arranged in the right order to avoid clashes - as in people reviewing books of people who've reviewed them, there is then a list created where everyone reviews four books each, they swap book copies and the round starts. This one is well under way.

J.S. Fernandez, thank you for the lovely review. I am still learning how to control the software I use to build the books. (Adobe InDesign). I have Google Translate to thank for the odd Spanish translation (I was thinking Google could handle English to Spanish correctly) however, for the Choctaw and Creole French I had help from native speakers, for the African text I simply kept it short to what I could find online as translated, having said all that, each of these languages have special characters that were eliminated by the choice of font when InDesign exports to .Mobi format.

EOD Phil, ship names were addressed, and now in Italics (another InDesign learning issue for me- which required a whole different font set).

E.M. the whole of the book is now in a Reflowable format, rather than Fixed format, so everything should be expandable to fit any device. (I don't have a Kindle device, so I rely on their PC software to check capability).

Thank you to each of you for your lovely reviews and open honesty. You have truly given me what I have been looking for, not only to better my story telling but helping improve upon the technical facets as well. Your feedback is gold to me!

Howdy folks,

Been dealing with some stuff and this whole review thing slipped my mind. Mea culpa. Haven't had much spare time for reading or writing either, to be frank. Never fear, on Friday I'm disappearing off the grid for a long weekend of disconnected R&R and should find an ample opportunity to flip some figurative pages in front of the fireplace.

I'll have my last two reviews posted early next week after I get back to reality.
