So jealous you are able to have a face to face book club. Our local library had monthly community reads before the pandemic but I was never really interested in the books chosen so I never participated and none of my friends read here in the area. It's so weird...you'd think I'd be drawn to likeminded people but not so much LOL.

It’s an extremely diverse group of women and one of my online friends here moved to the area and has now joined. We’ve met by Zoom since April and are still holding on. I love this group, who most don’t read romance but share a love of general fiction.
Most of my friends don’t read like I do but one of my cousins on our weekly family Zoom call does so we’ve created that connection. I guess love of reading isn’t the dominate trait that connects me with my friends outside of this community, which I think is true for most of us here.
Enjoy your books! I wanted to jump in on Lucy Kincaid but the holds are taking forever. I liked Ignite On Contact, and I hope you get to In A Holidaze. I’m waiting on my library to add it.

I let Ignite slip through the cracks so I’m definitely listening to it this month. Holidaze isn’t even a question!
Jonetta, I used to belong to two face-to-face reading groups; both have disbanded. One fell apart a couple years ago, and the other because of the pandemic (no one wanted to use or learn Zoom). I miss them.

I loved In A Holidaze too. I received the Arc a month or so ago and finished it in a day. I'm a fan of holiday books. It sounds like the audio is well done.
