I read this book probably 2-4 years ago and I remember wanting to wait for the sequel. I'm pretty sure the cover was greyish and had maybe skyscrapers? Maybe the name has to do with "hero"? This might be my imagination though. I'm pretty sure it was set in New York City but it could also be any other big city. I honestly don't really remember much about this book but I do remember it was a mystery and the main character was a girl. She went around the city solving clues with a younger brother and maybe other friends? The mystery was a long-standing one and she's just one of many people who tried to solve it throughout a span of many years. Most people think it's hopeless at her time. Maybe a million/billionaire set it up? One of my most distinct memories about it younger brother made a huge lego city in their apartment. And some kind of law enforcement broke it? That part may not be right though.
