I read this series in 2018/2019.
Set in America, published in English.
Each book focused on a different main character. I think submissives were being targeted by the cult and possibly hurt as well as blackmailed. This is plotline running through the whole series.
I think one of the last book in the series focused on a female psychologist and the male BDSM club owner.
