Neha | 257 comments hey June! I started poppy war on the BR date and posted in the thread but it's quite brutal for my current mood so I might not finish it before the end of the month :(( You should still be able to get the BR points for it though and I'd be happy to read your comments on the book since I don't really mind spoilers!

Neha | 257 comments I just finished book 3 in the Discworld series and will finish book 6 in the Jeeves series soon. Will post reviews in a couple days :D

Trisha (semi-hiatus) (booksreviewsandprocrastination) | 3571 comments Hey team, I'd been sick for some time, and was also busy with exams (at the same time unfortunately) but now I'm slightly better, and will start on the books for this month! I might not be able to read more than 10 however, antibiotics are awful :/

message 164: by Tiera (new)

Tiera McMillian (hawtmess) | 3419 comments Ok I'm back in business! I completely fried the motherboard on my phone and lost everything, especially since apparently my phone was older and stopped updating to icloud about.. oh IDK 5 updates or so ago. I'm finally getting all my books and passwords and apps back together. It also seems that when I read on the Ipad it doesn't flag anything as currently reading so I'm wracking my brain now trying to find all the things I've read so far this month. Do you guys know if by chance there is a list in amazon that allows you to see all the books you have "downloaded" off KU this month?

If you go into titles they will say returned from the most recent

Oh no Tiera that's awful. 2020 is not going easy on anyone. But yeah you can see all your past KU checkouts (even since you signed up) through the website which is very nice. Glad you're back in business and hopefully now at least more updated for awhile :P

message 168: by Aly (new)

Aly (alyp_01) | 11128 comments Sad Tiera! I know you read a ton so that really sucks. I hope you can get everything sorted out

Connie (sunstormsandthunderclouds) | 3978 comments Does anyone feel bad about giving a book a bad review when they've interacted with the author before? I do hahaha

Yes! Especially if they send me the book and I don't like it

I just reviewed one and I went to look and Im the only person out of all the people who've reviewed the book who has given it less than 4 stars

message 172: by Connie (new)

Connie (sunstormsandthunderclouds) | 3978 comments I also have a lot of books that aren't in series so if anyone needs more pages to get bonus points, don't hesitate to combine them with the stand alones to bump the points :)

message 173: by Connie (new)

Connie (sunstormsandthunderclouds) | 3978 comments I feel bad bc a lot of the series I need to read are shorter books, so I'm gonna jump in on a couple of buddy reads before going back to my actual planned reading.

I'm good I'm trying to clear my galleys and eARCs before the end of the year so I can start next year with a fresh slate but I also don't want to be away from reading series for too long. I'm gonna try and finish a couple of series books this weekend and then go back to galleys during the week! We have a lockdown commensing on the 27th so I should be more free once that starts.

What about you? How are you>

Starting this afternoon I'm 5 days off from work, so I'll be reading a lot between household and other things :) Mostly finishing current reads from the month before and this month.

message 177: by Aly (new)

Aly (alyp_01) | 11128 comments Connie, that's a great goal! I won't have mine cleared out but you've inspired me to get as many read as I can.

In the U.S. we have Thanksgiving next week so I'm looking forward to 4 days off for that and a lot of reading time.

Katie,

If you end up reading Nyxia and want to continue to #2, I can read Nyxia Unleashed (The Nyxia Triad, #2) by Scott Reintgen with you in December. I've been wanting to finish the series.

Heather | 10157 comments Natalie wrote: "How does everyone pick their next book I've just made a spinner what will pick my books"

If I have library books I pick the next one due and if not I put them in a random number generator and look at my list of books I own

message 187: by Connie (new)

Connie (sunstormsandthunderclouds) | 3978 comments I'm gonna be reading some shorter books tonight to hopefully stack up into some good bonus points :) the other team is still just under 500 points behind but we all know how quickly that can change!

message 188: by Connie (new)

Connie (sunstormsandthunderclouds) | 3978 comments I think that's me done for the evening :) I'm gonna aim to have four-six of the small SVH books read tomorrow which I know doesn't make a lot of points but every point counts :D

I finished my Stephen King book. I'll be starting the last book in the trilogy tomorrow as well. I'm not sure how much time I have tomorrow but hopefully I can cram in as much as possible while I'm off work.

Connie (sunstormsandthunderclouds) | 3978 comments I’m going back to reading a galley, then reading a series book, just because I still wanna get them cleared on the ASAP Rocky side of things. Is that cool with everyone else for the next week?

Hopefully by December I’ll be reading solely series books!
