YA Sci-fi/Fantasy fiction. Featuring main characters from three different time periods, early humanity, the present, and the far future

I read this book around 5-7 years ago, pretty sure it had been recently released. The book starts off with a teenage girl living with her tribe thousands of years ago, they get attacked one day by another tribe and many of her people die but she finds refuge in a cave, where she discovers some kind of strange energy. The next part takes place in present day but unfortunately I can't recall many details about this part, I think the main character was a scientist who was having some kind of problem. The last part though ends with an astronaut in the future getting ready to leave Earth and go on a long space journey somewhere. I think their goal is to go into a wormhole. The storylines are all connected and the book is framed in terms of humanity's progression on Earth. Light fantasy aspects to it because there was some kind of spiritual energy that connected the characters.

Appreciate any help I get on this, I want to say the title had something to do with the stars but I'm not sure.

Thanks, I checked out that post, and I think we might be. The suggestion in the comments, The Ghosts of Heaven, I think could be it. I will have to confirm first since I'm not positive yet.
