Finished (view spoiler)[ It was sweet the Og and Keira were reunited at the end. And they sent all those AI's, embryos, and information to another planet. I don't know that we really needed this sequel, but it was okay. (hide spoiler)]

It wasn't bad, I just don't know that we needed a sequel. But there's still some fun quests

Day 1 - Cutscene to Chapter 1
(view spoiler)[I don't dislike it, but I definitely don't like it so far. So far, I don't see a reason for there to be a second book. It's just sad that no one understands that Samantha is right. Wade, Aech, and Shoto just don't get it that they shouldn't have released ONI. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I knew from reading the summary that there would be another Easter egg adventure, just like the first book, and was just very excited for a sequel since I really loved the first book.

At this moment, after reading the first 3 chapters, I'm not sure how I feel yet. I have no thoughts or feelings about ONI yet since I really don't know what it can do. I already know the negatives of what the OASIS does to everyone, making them wish they weren't in their current reality.

How much worse can ONI be on humanity, which already doesn't enjoy living in reality and spends every waking moment in the OASIS?

Remember from book 1 when Wade mentioned that many people had relationships and families in the OASIS, having never met IRL? I'm remembering that fact while reading and will compare that to what I gather for ONI and my thoughts. (hide spoiler)]

Day 3 - Chapter 5 through Chapter 7
(view spoiler)[I think Lo is one of my favourite characters now. She just seems so real.

I really wonder what the prize is for getting all 7 Shards. Probably money, but there has to be more to it than just that.

I'm also wondering if the High Five will somehow mend their bond, and if something will happen with the L0w Five, thus repeating history.

I guess ONI kind of makes things better, almost. It basically forces them to only be online for 12 hours, unless they use the "old" technology to access the OASIS.

The story seems to be picking up a bit now that Wade has found one of the Shards, so I'm still hopeful. I'm also excited to see what happens with Lo and Z later on. They seem like they would be good friends. (hide spoiler)]

Day 4 - Chapter 8 through Chapter 10

Day 1 - So far everything is just setting up the book, but I agree with Alex. (view spoiler)[ I definitely think they jumped the gun releasing that technology, and I think Samantha was right about that; however, I am saddened that she and Wade have split in such a dramatic fashion. Don't get me wrong, it sounds like Wade is being a douche, but she could have done more "good" by sticking around and influencing him than just throwing a tantrum and leaving. I hope the new challenge will be interesting. The fact that there doesn't appear to be a prize is intriguing. Let's see where this goes. (hide spoiler)]

Also, I don't know how obvious it is, but when I say something like "Chapter 8 through Chapter 10", I mean the start of the first chapter listed to the end of the last chapter listed. I would like to get to know more about her friends. Upon further reading, I don't think it was as obvious or stated as consistent of how emotionally stunted Wade is. I do hope that as this story progresses he does mature and gets much need growth. (hide spoiler)]

I thought your 3 chapters a day schedule would be no big deal since I usually sit down and finish a book cover to cover within a day, but I am struggling here. Every time I look at the book, I find something else to do. Please tell me it gets better?

It gets a bit better; things eventually started to pick up. I've fallen behind because of school and sports, etc., so I'm having trouble finishing the last few chapters. I say, if you want to, you could keep going; again, things do pick up.
