Glad you can play this round.
I don’t know why, but more and more often when I click on a link to view a thread on Goodreads, I end up with a “lite” version of the Web site.
I get the feeling their working on it b/c I get the 'overload, come back later' message along with a few other issues like this one.
Georgiana Darcy, Matchmaker
Georgiana Darcy: A Sequel to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice
A Match for Mary Bennet
Off Script
From Delaford To Barton A Tale of Colonel Brandon: A Story Inspired by Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility

Hi Kirk!
For your reading pleasure I've gone with Georgiana Darcy, Matchmaker. Let's see if she's a better matchmaker than Emma. LOL

Hi Abigail....what a surprise...I choose Catherine for you!!! Crossing my fingers and toes that you don't hate it! Cheers!

Thanks!!!!
Thanks, Kirk! It’s on my Kindle and I look forward to it. I always thought Catharine had the best potential for completion among all the juvenilia, in a Burneyesque sort of vein. That hero who could talk a dog’s hind leg off!Abmom, I have a treat in store for you! Longbourn's Songbird is a wonderful, soulful P&P rethinking in a retro era—and there’s now a sequel to enjoy! Hope you love it as much as I did.
Just got my library requests as they were closing due to covid once again! So its late, but if you dont mind choosing from my 2 ,
Or
Merci!
I loved both of them for different reasons, but I'll pick The Other Bennet Sister for you, Writer. :)

Lol indeed...the answer is yes!!! Team Georgiana approves this message.
Abigail, I really have to thank you for your choice. It was a beautiful book. It was heartwarming and heartbreaking and everything in between. Every character, every sequence, every emotion was so enjoyable and relatable. I loved every minute of reading it. Now I look forward to reading the Colonel.
So glad you loved it! She’s one of those authors who delivers more than just fan fiction. Since you liked that, you might also like Molly Greeley’s book The Clergyman's Wife: A Pride & Prejudice Novel as well. Greeley has a second book coming out soon.
My thanks to Kirk for spurring me on to read the completion of “Catharine; or, The Bower.” I am glad I read it but found it fell well short of the potential latent in this, my favorite of Jane Austen’s juvenile stories. Reviewed here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

If you are willing to place one of your November reading choices in the hands of another person, leave a comment here with at least five books and no more than ten from your TBR shelf. Participants need to leave comments no later than Oct 29th.
Here's how it will work:
Sophia will match people up and leave a comment with a list of who will choose for whom.
When you see the person you are to pick for, then just look at their list in the above comments and leave a new comment with their name and the book you chose for them by October 31st.
You also need to watch and see what book your person chose from your list for you.
You have the rest of the month to read the book.
So if this sounds like something you would like to do, just comment below leaving your name and list of book choices for someone to pick your November book.
