Hi everyone, my name is Lynn and I have a huge problem. I am addicted to reading. I only get to read when my kids go to bed, so I am up way in the am reading. My husband teases me that I have a new book everytime he see's me. If he only knew....

Hey Lynn! I have the same problem I'm completely addicted to reading and addicted to everything paranormal at that! Luckily I don't have to worry about only being able to read when kids go to bed, no kids for me and I read ANY chance I get, at the gym, in the car sitting at stop lights, at home during commercials, etc..... You are in good company!:)
Lynn_ I am the same as you! I have 4 little girls that keep me busy but any down time I have I always have a book open. My husband also teases me about my contious books...I like to tell him that they make me even more intellegent ;). I am glad I'm not the only one that reads at stop lights & commercials. Its addicting to get lost in books!

Hey Lynn, you are definately not alone. I'm addicted to reading too. I read mostly paranormal romances too. I have lots of time at night to read and I even read at work when it's not so busy.
I am also addicted to reading. I have three kids (ages 10-4) that all know of my addiction and tend to leave me alone when I have a book in my hand. I read while cooking, during commercials, while kids run around outside...pretty much during everything. My husband has even asked if he gets a tattoo of a book on his face and chest will I look at him. I told him it depends on the book. ;)
My kids are 2,3,8,10...I have foster children so they are spread out a little. My day is just not complete unless I read. I have lost 10 pounds and stopped watching tv, lol! My daughter's 2nd bday she only wanted to read her new books, she did not care about the clothes or toys. Starting her young! Paranormal have some of the best books out there!! I love the series books. I work with men with special needs at their home overnight, so after they are in bed, I have around 10 hours to read!! My record was 22 books in 2 weeks. I also read the Anita Blake series in 3 weeks. Reading has become like breathing.
Wow that's incredible Lynn!! I wish i had that much time that I could just do nothing but READ :) Jealous!:)
I don't know Susan, I have never read at a stop light. I laughed when I read that one!!
LOL, glad I could make you laugh Lynn!!! Oh believe me some of our lights and traffic can be bad, so if I'm sitting there I'm gonna read ;) You should try it sometime LOL ;)
Lights here are too quick! LOLI stay up till all hours of the night to read and have been known to have hubby get fast food or order pizza so I don't have to cook so I can read instead! lol
Maybe I should get my partner to read these comments! So he knows it is not just me with the reading problem! For those in Australia, it is Bathurst this weekend, PRIME READING TIME! while he is watching cars go 'round and'round, I'll be polishing off some books on the shelf!
I have started 3 books and I want to read them right now, but my sister in ruining my reading time by getting married. How dare her!! LOL!! I am going to finish Covet before I go out with her tonight.
Yeah Bathurst. Yep prime reading time! For those outside Oz, Bathurst is souped up sedans (holdens, fords, toyota) going round a street circuit, oddly through Bathurst, just west of Sydney.ALL WEEKEND.
Time to finish the 3 books I'm reading - Kerri Arthur, Destiny Kills, loving this; Christine Feehan, Dark Prince, been good so far; Katie MacAlister, A Girl's Guide to Vampires, a bit hard going.
Lynn hope the wedding goes well.
I read Dark Prince not to long ago. Not bad, I also just finished Kelley Armstrong's first 3 in the Woman of the Other world. Finishing Covet today!!
I am so addicted to reading, have been this whole year. I've averaged about 25 books a month since January. I tend to stay up very late (like now) reading.My husband swears they must be putting crack in my books.

LOL! my boyfriend keeps antagonizing me about staying up all night reading and then driving to work with three hours sleep total. he told me my books should come with a warning on them: both for me as an addict and for felow drivers on the road.
