read from 2007-2011 most likely. main character is a girl born into magic family who has a weird name that she hates. something happens and she has to go back in time and ends up helping her family/ancestor in some way? she when she leaves to go back forward in time she tells the ancestor her name and realizes that she's named what she is because her family/ancestor named her after herself.
