Rachel Hello everyone, I am really excited for this Saturday! I think that I went a little bit overboard picking out books, especially since I plan on sleeping. Oh well, at least I will have a good selection of books to pick from on the day depending on my mood.

I made sure to pick out a couple audiobooks so I could still get my normal daily routine done and spend time walking my dog while listening to the audiobook, otherwise he would be whining at me all day while I am reading.

Audiobooks:
1. Dracula by Bram Stoker
2. Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick
3. The Winner's Curse (The Winner's Trilogy, #1) by Marie Rutkoski
4. The Archived (The Archived, #1) by Victoria Schwab - which I have the physical book of also to switch back and forth.
5. Queen's Shadow (Star Wars) by E.K. Johnston

Ebook
I thought I would add in 1 Nonfiction book for a change of pace.
6. Project 333 The Minimalist Fashion Challenge That Proves Less Really Is So Much More by Courtney Carver

I watched a vlog recommending reading a series during the read-a-thon so that you do not have to learn a whole new world with each book.
7. Something Strange and Deadly (Something Strange and Deadly, #1) by Susan Dennard
8. A Darkness Strange and Lovely (Something Strange and Deadly, #2) by Susan Dennard
9. Strange and Ever After (Something Strange and Deadly, #3) by Susan Dennard

10. Darkfever (Fever, #1) by Karen Marie Moning

Physical books
11. Bloodfever (Fever, #2) by Karen Marie Moning

12. Blood & Honey (Serpent & Dove, #2) by Shelby Mahurin

13. The Unbound (The Archived, #2) by Victoria Schwab

14. The Winner's Crime (The Winner's Trilogy, #2) by Marie Rutkoski
15. The Winner's Kiss (The Winner's Trilogy, #3) by Marie Rutkoski

Elyse (winesaboutbooks) | 2454 comments It's always good to have plenty of options! I just finished reading/listening to Dracula. The listen is worth it! I loved Anna Kendrick's book! Audio is a must for me for any memoir. I hope to someday get to a lot of your other books. Neverending TBR!

Elyse I also have the problem of a never ending TBR! I have had a couple of these books on my list for years! I am excited to get to them.

I know what you mean that the audio is the way the go for the memoirs. I listened to Bossypants and Yes Please which were hilarious narrated by the Tina and Amy.

Ann A (readerann) | 867 comments I second that - you WILL have a blast! Dracula is a great choice for the October Readathon - and it's very good.

Jamie | 412 comments Great options you have! You can never have too many! It;s terrible when you start a book and find yourself dragging through it during something like this. Change it up to suit your mood, preference, or atmosphere!

The Winner's Trilogy is especially good! Welcome to your first readathon with us all! I hope you have a great time!!

Jennifer | 451 comments Welcome to your first readathon. I hope you love it!

It's always good to have options. I usually flit between several books during the day. For me, short books are perfect for readathons.

Have a great readathon.

I am really enjoying the Darkfever series that is what I sent the rest of my time on besides sleeping! Yes I had a good readathon. Next time I plan on picking out a series and getting the audio and physical book versions of each book so that I can jump back and forth between the two.

Rachel glad you enjoyed your first readathon here.
I too sometimes jump back and forth between audiobook and novel when reading novels. I am getting ready next month to do that with Pickwick Papers by Dickens.

I like that idea!

Vivienne (vivienneor) I am hooked on book-audiobook combinations and certainly Kindle/Audible does make it easy. Our online library BorrowBox has so many titles available that I am often spoilt for choice.
