YA book read between 2009-2011. A football player spends the summer working out trying to get better for the team. His girlfriend goes to a summer camp/boarding school/college for the summer. After he loses contact with her, he goes to find her. I remember really liking the book and wanting to reread it, I cannot remember the name of it now. I believe someone was named Sam in the book.
