13. Kisten Felps set up Ivy but tried to help Rachel out when she went to confront Piscary. Where does this relationship stand with both of them? Friend, foe or jury still out?

I got the impression that Kisten felt guilty over what happened to Ivy and also furious that Piscary replaced him with her as his scion. This combination is what led him to help Rachel.

Jury is still out on Kisten for me. Will have to wait and see.

I felt that his actions were part revenge and part guilt but his nature is still vampire so I don't trust him. He's willing to pretend he's the scion and that's ultimately going to make him dangerous.

Jury is still out for me, too.
