A mother bobcat and her twins cautiously exited the corn field and entered my front yard as I drank my coffee just now. Their camouflage amazing in the the dried up corn stalks!

When I was still commuting the only wild life I'd get to see was the rats in the subway and I would marvel at how their fur was the exact color of the rails, railway ties and the dark dust that colours the whole area. Perfect camouflage. You can only find them by staring at the tracks with unfocused eye and waiting for movement. It's like those old stereograms were a picture appears if you stare long enough but in NYC it's a rat. For me it is wild life and better than nothing at all.
