Problematic Themes In Twilight

It probably isn't much of a surprise to anyone who has spent time reading the Twilight Saga that there are some "problematic themes" explored within the pages of these books. As the books were released quite some time ago, there has been plenty of time for people to read and offer their commentary on the books. With the release of "Midnight Sun" it seems like the discussions have started back up again and so I'm curious as to your thoughts.

Do you think there are problematic themes in the Twilight Saga? If so, explain what they are and why you feel the way you do.
