Seeking Support for your Book and Mine!

Hello!

I’m writing to you today in hopes to offer you some support.

My name is Christen Conrad and I am a new Children’s Picture Book Author and Self-Publisher. I’m so excited to report I recently published my first book! I am new to this and I honestly had no idea what to expect after my book was released. I know absolutely nothing about marketing, let alone book marketing!

I have started a blog on my website, www.christenscorner.com. I am trying to make myself visible on social media, Facebook, Instagram, and Goodreads. However, I am still trying to figure it all out as there is A LOT of information, and sometimes Im not even sure if what Im doing is right! Do you feel this way too?

If there are any other new Authors and Self-Publishers, I would love to connect with you! I am currently interested in seeking new Authors out with their new books and get feedback from you on anything you may feel is pertinent to say!

Hi Christen,

I am the author of two published books and another coming out in 2021. Marketing is probably the most difficult aspect of the whole book creation-process. I've been at it for over 5 years, and I think I'm just starting to get successful. I'm finally getting my book into a lot of readers' hands. But it's a lot of work and constantly looking for the next angle. I do a lot of public speaking (now zooming) and Facebook groups has worked well for me. I wish you lots of luck with your books. They sound adorable.

My books are not for children, but if you're interested they are all all my goodreads page, and they are all available on kindle unlimited. I don't have kids to look at the book, but I do know teachers who work with children, so I can past on.

It's about a harried mother who wants to stay one step ahead of her children’s antics. She experiments with the Magic Mixer to give herself animal abilities. But choosing the right animal proves more difficult than she thought.
