Fantasy YA read approx 2000-2010 (I think). Essentially as a child the young female lead character plays with her brother(?) in the forest and for some reason ends up having to unwittingly work as a solider for the fae. She doesn't realise she is doing it (from memory) but when the family moves out of town she is constantly tired as she is going back to carry out the contract. She is working while she is asleep as such.
