Not sure how old the book is but was published before 2010. I read it in high school and now cannot remember for the life of me what is the title...
The book is a historical romance novel set in Eastern US, I think New York where one of the characters is named Georgia or Georgie, or Georgina. The heroine marries a man and he has a daughter that hates her.
