Zach sits down and nods, at the Gladers.
"The reason we called you shanks here, is cause James and Matty found a message in the Maze. We need to figure out what the heck it all means."
"The reason we called you shanks here, is cause James and Matty found a message in the Maze. We need to figure out what the heck it all means."
"Hello group 72, we'll be in touch" James yawns, "That's the bloody message. Any ideas?"
"Wait! Maybe we're group 72," Matthew offers, leaning on his elbows.
James nods, "Yeah could be, but who is bloody going to be in touch? And why? Have any of you seen anything else different recently?"
The Runners exchange looks of confusion.
"No, only you shanks," Zach says.
"No, only you shanks," Zach says.
((Going to the library. Be back later!))
((ok!))
"We've all seen that plaque that said WICKED, me and Matt have seen the Group 72 one, they could be connected but I'm not sure. Anyone see anything weird, Grievers during the day, blood, anything?"

((I'm back!))
Zach and the others shake their heads.
"That bloody griever you saw, did you ever find it?"
Zach and the others shake their heads.
"That bloody griever you saw, did you ever find it?"
James shrugs, "Maybe, no way of knowing, it's not like you can tell which is which. There were two Grievers chasing us yesterday but there's no bloody way to tell if one was the one."
Zach nods. "Now back to this message. It's obvious we were meant to see it. Maybe someone's trying to contact us. Give us a clue how to get out of this place."
"I can say it in Latin if you guys want." James shrugs, not sure how they can find anything in such a simple message.
"Salve Coetus Septuaginta duo,, lorem ipsum dolor sit tactus"
Zach and Matthew make a face.
"Dude, you read way too much," Zach jokes, "but that didn't help at all."
"Dude, you read way too much," Zach jokes, "but that didn't help at all."
"Nope, just makes me sound like some kind of bloody language professor." James says grinning.
Matthew flashes him a quick grin, then says, "this is gonna drive me crazy. What does all this klunk mean?"
"I have no bloody clue." James laughs.
Zach groans, and throws his head in his hands. "Here's the deal, tomorrow, you and Matt and me are gonna head out to that Maze and see if there are any more bloody messages!"
((Maybe the next Glader someone creates should be "The Last one?"))
((Maybe the next Glader someone creates should be "The Last one?"))
((Is Zach a Runner?))
James nods, "I'm thinking of spending another night out there soon, now that we know it's possible to survive."
James nods, "I'm thinking of spending another night out there soon, now that we know it's possible to survive."
((Oh yeah I forgot. It'll just be Matt and James then.))
Matthew nods, agreeing. "Good that. I'm in."
Matthew nods, agreeing. "Good that. I'm in."
"Well, we'll leave at dawn tomorrow and come back the next day, we need to make sure we grab some apples from Marie for defense though" James jokes.
Matthew smiles.
"Sounds like a good plan shanks," Zach nods, running a hand over his short haircut.
"You two better get some sleep."

"You two better get some sleep."
"Yeah, it'd be bloody fun going in exhausted again." James says, grinning he adds, "Bonum nocte"
"What?" Matthew asks, about that last part.
"It's Good night in bloody Latin." James says laughing.
Matthew smiles and rolls his eyes. "Show off."
Zach stands up. "Good that. We have a plan. Now you two go get some sleep!"
"Ok, I'm outta here shanks," James says waving goodbye before walking towards the Homestead.
Matthew says good night to the Gladers and follows James into the Homestead.
Logan paused outside of the map room and cast a nervous glance at his surroundings, then unlocked the door and stepped inside to start trying to figure out the message they'd been given.
Emmra walks into the map room. Her eyes glancing around the room. She spotted what she was looking for and went to get it. She then noticed a boy near the table. "Hi." She said with a shy wave.
"Oh, hi." He glanced over at her.Honestly? Logan hadn't noticed she was there, which made him feel bad, but he didn't say anything. He felt pressured enough with the puzzle the maze had given them.
Emmra walks towards the desk where she looked through the drawers. She felt bad for not saying more than a hello, but she didn't really know how to start a conversation. She looks in the drawers, not finding what she was looking for. She stood back and let out a sigh.
"Do you need help looking for something?" Logan asked after a few minutes of the girl looking through different boxes and drawers throughout the room.
"Well, yah. But it looks like we're out of it." She said with a sigh at the end. She looked over at the boy, he looked like he was working on something important. "What are you working on?" She asked with curiosity.
((Before I mess this up in one way or another, most of the gladers do know about the puzzle thing, right? Or do only a few know currently?))
Becca {Book Enthusiast} wrote: ""Well, yah. But it looks like we're out of it." She said with a sigh at the end. She looked over at the boy, he looked like he was working on something important. "What are you working on?" She ask..."Logan hesitated.
"A puzzle, of sorts." He shrugged and ran his hand through his hair as he stared down at a few stray papers and the wooden maze the other map makers had carved through the years.
"I hope you can figure it out." She said, putting her hands in her pockets. She looked at him, taking in his brown hair and green eyes. She decided she would sketch him at some point, when she would be able to find a pencil. ((I think his eyes are green, right?))
She bit her lip and looked at him. "I need a recipe." She said."I am supposed to cook something for dinner, but I wasn't given the recipe." She explained.
"Hmmm..." He rubbed his head."Wouldn't that be in the kitchen? I don't think the cooks ever mentioned storing their recipes in here before."
"That would be helpful." She said as she started looking through some boxes at the back of the room. "The cooks are supposed to memorize the recipes. But I could never." She says as she reads a paper.
