This another one that has been on my radar. I am hoping to get to this one as well! I have so many books that I'm trying to fit in such a short amount of time!!!
I absolutely loved this book. Might join in with it next month! Very keen to read the sort of sequel book Homo Deus, both books make a lot of the must read type lists that i have seen.
Yuval Noah Harari created a Coursera course which isn't active anymore but he loaded all the videos to youtube. You might want to watch the videos as you read the book. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...
I will join this read. Actually it is going to be my first time reading a book of the month. This book has been in my shelves for some months, I bought it duting the first lockdown in Spain, but I haven't read it. I wasn't sure of joining this read because I have some books half way and I'd like to finish reading them, but last night talking to a friend, he recommended this book; this has pushed me a bit with this book, so I'll join you in this read =)
Hello all!I am ashamed to admit that I have never heard of this book until the survey for November came out! I ordered this book and just started reading it yesterday (once I finished Dracula, of course)! I didn’t even know this book was non-fiction when I first ordered it!
Anyway, the book seems very intriguing and I’m glad I made the decision to read this book this month.
Happy reading, everyone!
... excuse my typos. I am writing this on my phone and I am not accustomed to doing so (normally when I access groups on Goodreads I use my laptop). Looking forward to reading this book!
I am half way through this book and it is very, very interesting read. Especially if someone is into documentary. I combine reading with audio and it's a great experience 🙂.
I have borrowed this book from my friend for reading. opened it for reading and closed so many times. this time I am planning on finishing this with the group
This book has been on my TBR for awhile now. It reminds me of "The Sixth Extinction," which I loved, so I don't really know why I have been dragging my feet about reading it.
Robin wrote: "Yuval Noah Harari created a Coursera course which isn't active anymore but he loaded all the videos to youtube. For those who are still off at a slow start, I suggest starting with the audiobook or the YouTube lectures.
I clicked on his very last video. The setting - bare background, him in an armchair, an old military- looking floor lamp, and a video display remind me of a scene from "The Matrix." This film was the best analogy that popped up in my mind.

Friendly reminder that this is our spoiler-free thread. If you're ready to talk spoilers, feel free to head on over to the spoilers thread.
Who is joining in this read? Will it be your first time reading or is this a reread? How long have you been meaning to read this book?
