I noticed this morning, whew! It surprised me how much of a difference that made in how much time I spent on GR this past week.
Thanks! I wondered...I’ve been glued to the news last several days, not checking GR or reading much for pleasure, but was surprised I wasn’t getting any notifications of comments.

Well, I’m just glad you gave us the straight goods on this. Thanks so much. I’ve been onto the new layout, and it’s only as off-putting as the tech improvements we all now experience on a day to day basis!

I've only seen screenshots, but it looks like the changes will make things harder for GR librarians. & I'm not really interested in how many other people are reading the same book as I am. With my old fashioned tastes quite often the answer will be no one!

Goodreads has turned notifications off, due to a deluge of porny spam. There is an announcement in Help. Of course Goodreads could put up a banner notification, but that isn't the way Goodreads rolls.
Some members are also seeing a beta version of how Goodreads is going to change the book page. I've only seen screenshots - it's not as bad as most recent changes, but it is going to mean more clicks for the volunteer librarians who help maintain the data base. :(
& a reminder that the Decision at Delphi read starts on the 12th of this month.
