Fantasy/Sci-Fi. Kingdom based on colour powers. I read this within the last 10 years (2010-2020). Two brothers fought for the right to be king. One locked the other up in a chamber of blue so he could get no power. They both had the ability to use all colours. Other people could only use one or two, but most of the population could use none. Red created heat and fire, green was strength and other colours also had specific uses. If children were found to have an ability to use colours, they were sent to a special school to learn how to harness the powers. The main character is the bastard son of one of the brothers. He is brought to the school to be trained and found to be very powerful and able to use all of the colours. This is hidden from people.
