My 2 children's picture books are called Pegasus -- A Dragon's Tale and Button Nose the Sad Little Bear respectively. Pegasus has won 11 prestigious book awards and is the story of brother and sister royal bear cubs who find a mysterious egg while out playing one day. It eventually hatches into a cute baby dragon and the 3 become inseparable friends. The story centers on that friendship and what happens after they are separated and eventually reunited. Button Nose has won 6 awards and is the fictionalized account of the teddy bear I had as a child and what happens to him after he's sold in a yard sale. The back of the book blurb says it's "the story of a much-loved little bear and the little girl who will never give up on finding him again."
My 3rd book Cinderella -- A Love Story is a 130-page, 16-chapter juvenile fiction book (winner of 2 prestigious book awards) and is "a fanciful and absorbing rewrite of the classic faerie tale". It is told here in a fascinating new version, set circa mid-16th century. Younger readers will love the borrowed magic that enables Ella to attend the ball, while older readers -- including adults -- will connect with the inseparable bond between mother and child; a bond that transcends time and space and even death itself.
Ella's parents are young and in love and the family is happy until Marie suddenly dies. Her father remarries, hoping to give his beloved child a mother's love and care. But Charles's new wife is a cruel, unaffectionate woman, who cares only for her own two very backward daughters, and turns her step-daughter into a servant. Ten years later, when the King throws a ball in honour of his son, Ella's only chance at happiness comes from a most unexpected source.
Let me know if you decide to review any of them.

Time To Be The Better Man: South Florida Suspenseful Romance
When Nathaniel Arias first met Charles Calthorpe as a potential client for his landscaping business, the impression was less than favorable. Nate disliked the wealthy homeowner enough that declining the offer for the job was on the tip of his tongue, that was until he saw her.
When Nate imagined the Mrs. of the house, Tara Calthorpe was the complete opposite, from her messy pony-tail down to her well-worn tennis shoes. After she moved past her initial anger at the presence of the young business owner, she smiled, and Nate melted. When the man of the house staggered down the street, with whiskey sloshing from the glass tumbler clutched in his hand, forgetting the meeting or the deposit check, Nate had no choice but to stay.
One glance into the sad blue eyes of Tara Calthorpe enticed Nate to commit to the job. Concern for the woman had him taking the next step towards friendship. When Charles Calthorpe walked away, leaving the hard-working beauty struggling, it was love that kept Nathaniel Arias committed to being the better man.
HEA, meant for audiences eighteen and older due to mature subject matter.

Hi, Sandra, just wanted to let you know I submitted my 3 books on your website. Hope to get some reviews soon. I look forward to hearing.

Would you consider a collection of short stories called Toxic Cookout? It's a melange of disturbing stories, most of them already published in literary magazines, that range from the real to the fantastic. Here's a link to Kirkus Reviews that will take you to the Amazon page: https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-re...
Thanks for considering!

My 1st review:
5.0 out of 5 stars She has lived this story

The author is writing about what she has lived. It is accurate picture of New Orleans in the 1980s, and today in a certain way. Hope she gets the attention of those who want to learn about New Orleans on the ground level.

I meant to give you my email address. I am curious if you do all the reading & reviews yourself or do you have readers.
Anyway, I just posted info about my newest novel "Crimes & Impunity in New Orleans."
Anyone wanting a PDF can get it by emailing me:
