Right? And this is all I'm in the mood for right now! Just horror/mystery/thrillers! I'm also in the mood for vampires, which is very odd for me since I'm not super into vampires anymore. I do think I can blame Midnight Sun for that though. Lol. But I have not read it yet because I want to re-read the the Twilight Saga... it's gonna be interesting revisiting it after 10+ years 😬

Same! That sucks about Anita Blake, Elena. But I'm glad you're able to find enjoyable things about it regardless. The only other series I'm thinking about revisiting because I need to finish it is Vampire Academy. I remember really enjoying the first couple of books I read.

I love the Ellie Jordan series! It has it's ups and downs, but overall it's an enjoyable series with lots of great characters! I definitely recommend it! The first book is free on Amazon, although I don't know if this is true for places other than the US.
