I don't remember much about the book, but there was a cute scene where one of the main characters finds a lost child (I think in a mall) and with the help of a police woman is trying to find out information about the child's family. They have a cute exchange that goes like this:
Police: what's your mom's name?
Child: mommy
Police: what does your dad call her?
Child: honey!
Police: I bet she has another name
Child: (name) honey!
Police: and what's your name?
Child: (full name)
Police: and what's your dad's full name?
Child: he's (father's name) honey!
