That's why I posted it in a Mockingjay discussion :P

For example this series. Don't post death spoilers that happen in the other books on the first book, post it in the book it happens in.
Don't spoil that Finnick dies in the hunger games, but it's okay to say in in a Mockingjay discussion, because THAT'S when it happened.
Most people who are discussing this book on goodreads will assume everyone has read it, so if you haven't and you're looking for curiosity, then that's your own fault.
People can research a book before they read it and get spoilers from wikipedia for god sake!

That's why I po..."
See, this is okay, because THIS BOOK is when those deaths happened. If Kelly had posted this for The Hunger Games or Catching Fire, then it would be a problem.

of course its not okay, people go to wikipedia voluntarily, but people who haven't read the book could still see discussion titles and that's not cool. Sometimes people actually put up discussions on books they still haven't read just to get the public's general views on it without needing to slog through lengthy reviews or risk spoilers but even if you put up NO SPOILERS in the title some trolls who comment blabber on anyway.
...and oh yeah kelly it really is pointless to rant about people who spoil when you've put up spoilers yourself, it kinda negates your own statement:
"I think I'm the only person on this freaking website that realizes that people who haven't read a book, can see the discussions!"
you know you could always use this to hide them, just take out the periods: <.spoiler>...<./.spoiler>

What's really annoying, is when people put spoilers from other books in discussions or reviews for a different book, without even indicating that there's spoilers. I learned a certain death in Allegiant from a House of Hades review. The person was complaining how there wasn't any deaths in the book, and that it should had been more like Mockingjay and Allegiant which had (and then listed deaths).

Seriously. I'm paranoid whenever I'm waiting to read a new release.

Same. Especially, when the book is a sequel. Someone always posts a spoiler in the previous book's discussions...

YES. It's the worst.

This happens a lot on Twitter and Facebook, too. It happens in some reviews also. It seems to me that a person who doesn't want spoilers should probably stay away from any form of social media about the book .

Yeah, it's true. My goodreads use goes way down when a new release comes out and I haven't read it yet. And I tend to look at the book icons in discussion instead of browsing actual titles.

So, everyone, please don't put deaths or other major spoilers in the topic titles. Just do like, "I'm really upset about...(SPOILERS!)" Seriously, it's not that difficult.
