What is the woman's job? Does her company videotape people throughout the country/world in public and private places?
Is this Earth is the near or distant future?
This is in the new future. It is a dystopian. The woman gets a job at a big company (Google-like company) because of a connection with a friend. She works in a cubicle and all her work is data driven. She’s given daily quota to fill. Which she does. She wears a camera so the public can observe her all the time with the exception of the bathroom. (Reality TV style). Meanwhile, her friend has a career mishap and falls out of favor. The sins of her parents are broadcast over the web, humiliating her and causing her fall from grace.

Protagonist works at a big company, and everyone must comply. Everything she does is taped and put on the Internet for all to see. Her boyfriend leaves her because he doesn't want to lose his privacy. Her parents are freaked out. Congress must wear video recorders in order to assure transparency. People who object are censored with dark secrets being exposed. It's a nightmare!
