SOLVED. Mystery/Thriller told from perspective of charming unnamed killer who has plans and ambitions. Dorothy, daughter of copper mogul, gets pregnant. Spoilers ahead. [s]

So the book was very suspenseful and set loosely in the past; could have been the 50s or 60s based on the role of men and women in relationships. It began from the prespective of a charming man, who is cold blooded and wants to marry rich, so he begins to date this young woman I believe. One vivid plot point is that she gets pregant and he wants her to get an abortion because otherwise they will both be disowned and he will lose out on her wealth. the situation escalates and he ends up murderering/making it look like she committed suicide.
I think there were three main woman characters throughout the book, possibly sisters. i don't remember distinctly what happened to the second woman but I believe it was like the first woman. The fact that the reader does have a description of the man is used to suspensefully reveal that the second woman is also dating him, before she meets a grim end. Anyway the third girl enters the book, and is very suspicious. The similar pattern plays out but the man ends up being thwarted by the third woman (possibly other players here but I don't remember them). The book ends with a tour of her family's copper processing plant (??) where the mysterious man is gleefully excited by the wealth he is going to inherit and I think it ends with the family pushing him into the molten copper as revenge.

A very rough plot but I must of read it sometime between 2012-2014, but could certainly have been published before that. I remember the cover was this kind of 50s pop art of half a woman's face. If anyone has any idea
