Jonquil, it's been happening to us as moderators too. We've found posting a basic few words, then editing to add the bulk seems to work. Leave out any links etc until editing. Good luck, woth Amazon too 🙃

not Goodreads-related but is an Amazon-created nightmare :
*trouble loading library books to my Kindle (Amazon "service")
*trouble returning library ebooks from my Kindle (Amazon "service")
*trouble finding the ebooks when they have supposedly been sent to my Kindle
*trouble removing them from my library account when Amazon no longer has a book my library has paid to license, that I have supposedly borrowed but cannot load and cannot return early
*Kindle no longer "reads the books to me"--the ONLY reason I bought a Kindle (they disabled the function in all the recent forced software updates
* no longer have access to 30,000+ Kindle books I purchased because they are using doublespeak regarding "license" versus "purchase." I spent years acquiring those books to read in retirement

I have successfully used computers, software, programs and apps since the 1970s. It's not me. It's greed.

The big pink box appears, but disappears if I log out then log in again. Obviously everything I have typed disappears too! But that was yesterday. Today’s latest development is finding I can’t log out…

When that happens Tr1sha, go to your post which will be at the bottom, and copy it, then refresh the page, repost and click "post". It might happen again, and again, but continue to refresh, and it'll work.

Don't know anything about the logging in or out though, as I've only just signed on.
