Zoe (thestonyfield) | 9 comments I read Pirkei Avot this year, and while this particular edition was published in 2015, the text itself is actually an ancient classic of Jewish literature, and I wish that was reflected in my reading stats graph! I think this should be similar to books like the Odyssey, The Art of War, or Beowulf, whose translations and commentaries are obviously modern, but which still are dated with the year they were estimated to be first written. Could multiple editions of the same core text be combined? Is there a way to change the original date published?
