Profiles in different languages/alphabets should never be merged. (Although I see that someone just did.)
Since this book exists: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... , all his titles need to have Arun Sadhu as primary author.

Issue is some books are not there in English profile and some books are not there in Kannada one.
I only see 4 books under ಎಂ.ಕೆ.ಇಂದಿರಾ and 19 books under M.K. Indira
#8 done#9 These are 2 different authors
#10 According to Worldcat all those names are used by the author, so no merge.
#11 only needed 1 author name added. No merges.

All books must have the English name first. Only editions in Kannada should have the Kannada one.

The first four books on the second profile are definitely those of the official Mary Gibson; two are versions of the same 2020 book and the other two are editions of books already on the official Mary Gibson's list. The rest I don't know about, but I suspect they are from a different Mary Gibson, the one this second page is really for.
Sorry if this isn't an author merge issue, I just couldn't see a way to transfer those books to the right author.

Thanks, Andrew. I see someone has already fixed this issue. I did try the extra space before posting but it then moved the book to another Mary Gibson! The official Mary Gibson having been claimed by the author I couldn't check how many spaces she is supposed to have.
We could do with a better system than extra spaces for distinguishing between authors.

I cleaned up all the Mary Gibsons this morning.
When you look at the combine page, look at the link that says similar names, and you can see all the authors with that name, including the number of spaces.

The Marathi profile should NOT be merged.
Was this author ever published in English (or another language)? The few covers I see are all in Marathi.
If he was only published in Marathi, the English/international name is not necessary.

The names on all the books are S.C. Stokes and there is a profile for that name. The Goodreads Author profile cannot be merged, edited or changed at all.

The title of the book is The Adventures of Nuno and Figo. The difference is my middle initial, 'H' that is causing the confusion. Please merge everything under my Thomas Murray account.

Since the H. is on the cover, that is the correct author name. Combined both books under Thomas H.^^^Murray (3 spaces between initial and last name for disambiguation purposes).
You can either ask Support to merge your profile into the fuller name, or ask here to have Thomas^^^^^^^^^^Murray added as a secondary author.
If I left it alone, I would have two author accounts. Go ahead and merge Thomas Murray into Thomas H Murray. I have 2 books. The other one is The Eye of the Beholder that would have to move over, too. Thanks.
