As they are described in the story, they all have weaknesses, but I thought Stacey Wood would have the toughest time. Even though she works hard, she has been placed with a group of hardened veterans that don't have much patience for ignorance. My opinion changed because of how hard she was willing to work. She even impressed Dawson which is obviously tough to do. She also learned that there are things about people that she must learn to accept if she is to be successful working with a group.
Agree with Lynn, they all have their weaknesses which are outlined in the early part of the book. Wood is inexperience and lacks confidence, Dawson is over confident with personal problems and Bryant is solid but no star. But together under Kim's direction they are going to evolve into a brilliant team as the series progresses.
I just knew Stacey was going to be the weakest link, simply because she was new and unsure of herself. Because Dawson presented himself as a hotshot, I thought he’d be the one to shine. So much for first impressions!
I thought Dawson would be the dud in the group, but it's mostly because I didn't like his attitude and methods, at least at first.
There is something about Stacey that made me think she has a lot of potential. I wasn't sure if Kim was up to the challenge as mentor though. Dawson is my least favorite in this group. He pushed too many responsibilities off on others. He thinks too much of himself.
Dawson. Hands down. He was arrogant & a showboater. I thought he'd blow everything while trying to "show up" Kim and steal all the glory. I'm glad he finally showed some growth.
I'm looking forward to Dawson in future books. His character seems to have the most opportunity for positive or negative change.
