Hello everyone!
The theme chosen for the October BOTM is...

Thriller/Horrors set during the Fall or Winter!

The poll was very close, but this theme came out on top.

Make sure that your suggestions fall into this category.

Rules:
~ Each person can only suggest ONE book
~ Books must be YA (young adult) as this is a YA group
~ Books must fall under the genre chosen
~ If books are in a series, the suggestion must be to first book as some people might not have read that series before
-(at some point there might be a series catch-up month to continue
series we have already started, but for now this rule stands)

*check the books read topic to see what has already been read, as these books cannot be suggested again

Suggestions will close on September 24th, and I will put out a poll to vote for the final BOTM for October, so be on the lookout for that to open.

Hmmm one of the genres it's listed as on Goodreads is YA, so I think we can count it unless you would rather suggest something else.

There are multiple different books with the name "Lockdown"- would you mind giving me the author or linking the book so that I can be sure I have the correct one?

One of the genres listed is horror, so I'll count it!

House of Salt and Sorrows is a really good book too! I read it last year, it's perfect for October :) And it is horror; it's more like a subgenre but it definitely had a strong horror element to it ^^

House of Salt and Sorrows has been on my TBR for so long, also thanks for confirming that it fits the theme :)
