Gail Meath (goodreadscomgail_meath) Hello, I would love for you to read Fateful Strangers, a historical romantic adventure-thriller that is both light-hearted and intense, riddled with passion, deceit and conspiracy as two strangers must stop the French underground from killing the King and overtaking the British government shortly after the Revolutionary War.

Douglas (branlon) | 9 comments Here's one to consider: Catamaran Crossing

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0852R2SYH

An American couple living in Florida select a British design for their new catamaran. They take delivery of the boat in Topsham where it was constructed and set sail across the Bay of Biscay. During a nasty storm one of the rudders is sheared off and they take shelter in La Coruña. Boat designer John Shuttleworth is called to assess the damage and after his inspection agrees to sail with the new owners. They encounter yet another storm on the way to the Canary Islands where a replacement rudder can be built.

A book review by London-based MJV Literary had this to say:

"Informative and educational, it is only fitting that this is as good a quality of penmanship that you will see on the subject; and, the endorsement of John Shuttleworth is as good a reference as any."

Hi! I have a YA fantasy with magic and a touch of time travel:

Sixty-eight years ago, the Brotherhood of Light came to power. Now, in 2091, Anya lives under the rule of the Lightborn. For years, these men have abused their power, changing the weather and altering animals for their own entertainment. But they’ve taken it too far. The world is dying because of their reckless use of magic. Though they try to hide it, these dark spots on the earth will soon seep out, leaving decay and destruction in their wake. Anya has remained hidden, her power a great secret she holds close. But she knows about the decay and feels a responsibility to do something. When she is captured by the Brotherhood, she is left with no choice but to help them. But her power is greater than they could ever imagine. Will Anya find the help she needs in the future? Can she make it back in time to stop the inevitable?
