Sci-fi(?) book where man dies and goes to heaven(?) which is like a facility where everyone relives their memories - the man tries to escape to a different level(?) to return back to life

I can remember that the man potentially died in a car crash on the way back from a campsite(?) with his girlfriend or something like that. Heaven(?) was like some sort of facility where there’s dream pods where everyone relives their memories. I seem to remember there being levels e.g. Earth was one level, heaven another. The man seems to be the only one awake(?) and tries to escape and find the control centre so that he can return to Earth/back to life. I think there could have been numbers in the title but I could be wrong. I have a vision of white when I think of it so the cover could have been predominantly white. Read around 2015/16
