Years ago, I joined as an author and reader in hopes one of my books would be read. Then read the rules, and have to participate on another thread to do that. Only once since I been here that we discussed and read an author's book from the group.

I like this idea as well. There is SO much coming out and that has been out that I am not aware of. The one thing there isn't an abundance of, are diverse and concise book lists. This could be a part of group branding where you offer another resource to your members. I'm down for that.

Thanks for this. I’m glad the author picked The Secret Lives of Church Ladies for his fiction selection. However, it’s the only one of the five I’ve read. I just requested Shuggie Bain by Diuglas Stuart from the library. Have you read any of these?

I second you there. I usually end up reading certain titles after the discussions have closed, but it is still great to refer to them!

I may have chosen one of those titles but once I read the June title, for me, I was greatly disappointed. I cannot recall if I chosen the second title but it was way better to my reading tastes. I think I participated in both.
