Lets's see which villain makes the cut for season 1. My hope is that the adaptation stays true to Ishtiaq sb.'s original storylines and khaas numbers become story arcs.



P.S. this actually should've been adapted as a series long time ago, in every decade, whether by PTV or other cable tv channels. It could've been like Dr. Who, with excitement over who will play Inspector Jamshed or Farzana or famous villains, Salater, Jeeral etc. or which khaas number would be produced! Well, better late than never!



Fingers crossed it will find a spot on Netflix and that will ensure new audience for Ishtiaq sb.'s work, but also republication of all titles in Urdu - and finally, translated in English (which should've been done by GoP or Oxford University Press a long time ago). There's nothing like this series for kids anywhere in the world with the characters and landscape (and philosophy) that Ishtiaq sb. developed.

Super excited for the series and its potential.
