R12: SS Team 8 - Reading Eight Days A Week

The alternate for 99 would be MC travels by airplane.
Either spot is fine for me. I'm good with whichever option the rest of the team prefers. :)

And it's totally not your fault on the dice there Sam XD"
Close, but not close enough. But hey, winning's not everything, the main point is having fun! :D

I'm just gonna go with this since it works for either spot:
SELECTION POST
Spot: 94 or 99
Book: Rum Runner by J.A. Konrath
Qualification: Jacqueline "Jack" Daniels #9
Pages: 323

That;s a valid point, I hadn't thought of that.
Week 12
Spot: 94
Book: Rum Runner by J.A. Konrath
Qualification: Jacqueline "Jack" Daniels #9
Pages: 323
Finished: 05 Dec 2020
Rating: ★★
Review:
I read the first three books in this series a few years ago and found them mighty entertaining. Apparently I've missed quite a lot between those and this book - Jack has quit her job, acquired a husband and kid somewhere along the way, and apparently gone through sufficient trauma to turn her into a raging bitch. The supposed humour in this book was mostly just annoying as hell, and the plot ridiculously over the top. I just didn't have the patience for any of this nonsense.

Team 7 has submitted their final batch of reviews for spot 102, so we have a winner for this round.

Up to you. Some players like to finish their last roll, others stop as soon as a winner is called. :)
