Is this a picture book or children's novel?

Susana | 7 comments Is it possible it's the same book I found thanks to this group? The Seventh Door by Norman Leach. The description of the forests sound familiar to this book.

Shannonm.Kellyprotonmail.Com | 5 comments No I don’t think so but thank you anyway

Becca (beccalikesbooks) | 5562 comments It sounds like it might be a version of / influenced by the fairy tale of the Twelve Dancing Princesses. In that story, a prince stays awake to find out where twelve princess sisters go at night. He follows them through a gold forest, a silver forest and a diamond forest to a magical ball where they dance all night before returning in the morning. Here's a list of books based on the fairy tale - https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/3...
