I post my reviews via amazon, netgalley, and here.
I am specifically looking for (genre wise)
Historical fiction books (if they feature mythology and history together, the more the awesome) in:
Ancient Rome (preferably before the Christian period) Ancient India, Indian Mythology Medieval Korea (bonus!) Crusades (A fantastic period to build stories from.~) Mesoamerica ~(if there's any that's great) Ancient Egypt/Ancient Greece or Ancient Mesopotamia Persian Empire Ancient Carthage Ancient Numidia
Fantasy wise, I'm def looking for historical inspired fantasy that is far away from Medieval Europe.
Some that remind me:
The City of Silk and Steel The Tiger at Midnight The Alexander Inheritance (Part fantasy, part historical)
I LOVE Alternate history that also includes time travel. I'd read an entire series where Napoleon won his war instead of losing it. Add mythology. Give me Bronze Age inspired fantasy.
More Indian/Arabic inspired fantasy will def do the trick for me. Mesoamerican or African.
Please note I am intending to review these books, but they will take some time as I am reading a lot.
