Historical Romance (novella, part of anthology) with enemies falling in love. They have a night of passion while in disguise (he realizes who she is though).

I'm looking for this novella I read where a man and a woman are enemies in a town meeting thing they both participate in. They go to the same party/masquerade/sex club thing, and they are both wearing masks, if I'm not mistaken. They have sex and, during that night, he realized who she was, but she didn't realize it was him. In the end, he gives her her glove back after of their town meeting thing. And they have a happy ending. Does anyone know this story?

I didn't give that info because I really don't know.. :P
I read some years ago (not sure exactly when).
And it's either Regency or Victorian (again, not sure).
