Lol i don't mind a grittier story every now and then, in fact i love them when done well. Like i can handle horrible stuff at times, torture and dub con etc... I can deal. But the moment i see cheating im out, strange but thats one of my main deal breakers along side main character death and no hea/hfn π

I don't mind if stuff happens when they're not together yet during the book or such, im all for open relationships and such. But going behind partners back and that break of trust just literally disappoints & hurts, ruins character for me.

Not saying that it's okay in any way but I think in general gay guys are more open minded to that kind of things in real life. When I was a young gay it was just something that happened. Something that my group of friends was very open about and we spent a lot of time discussing.
I think there's one part in a lot of gay guys lives where the way society sees masculinity and relationship norms gets too much and you just say screw it and do the opposite. So that's probably why I don't really care. Of course it has to be done the right way, some cheating I can't stand.

For me its an honesty/trust thing, but i wouldnt have a clue since never been in long term relationship. Im chill if open and such thats never bothered me, as i have been pretty much myself but i don't consider that cheating as its like agreed arrangement between if makes sense.
Cheating for me is when you have made commitment with person and exclusive etc, then just break trust and do it anyway... So i guess different views on what fits for it i suppose too.
As i have read some poly where they were open and with different people, then developed into more.

8. Read 4 books with a beach on the cover.
What I want to see on the cover is water and the shoreline. The beach can be sand, rocks or dirt - depending on the setting. You can use any edition's cover for your qualification, but remember to use the first edition Kindle page count. Please include the qualifying cover in your completion posts.

Thank you for the clarification! :)

I think so so I am going to read it ππ"
Can't see why it wouldn't.

This series looks interesting, stunning covers too... Im weak, adding to tbr π

So um. This didn't work for me.
I liked Rusty and Tom. They were great. I was rooting for them. I really wanted their HEA. And they got it. So that's good. Sure, the story was filled with every clichΓ© you expect of a romance book. And sure there was some questionable cheesy scenes that even I thought was over the top. But they got their HEA. If that was all this would have been a three star read. Sadly it's not all.
The author loves her paragraphs.
Seriously.
There's.
A.
New .
Paragraph.
After.
Almost.
Every.
Single.
Sentence.
Okay I might be a bit overly dramatic, but almost. You get the picture.

I have been wanting to read it since I read her book in the Rosavia Royals series. So I am so happy I got a reason to now.

I'm going to finish Hummingbird Heartbreak before I start my book. Then I need to finish one or both of my sh books.

So im start later today xx

It's good that I read 8 sh books the first 10 days of September because now I'm having so much to read. And the gang bang hasn't even started yet.

Yeah thats great, i wish i had got through more of mine actually.... im only on my 5th so far. As ended up joining a bunch of buddy reads early this month. So thankfully gang bang doesn't start till october, as be done with all sh books by then ready jump into those picks π

Task 3 - 8. Read 4 books with a beach on the cover.

I loved this book. Polly was so funny. She was a young woman who was orphaned and decided to be Ethan the weaver's sister as he was rich. The weaver was not happy but his wife Helen adored his new sister. Crump knew he had no sister but no one except his friend believed him. So that is the story in a nutshell try to get Polly to admit she is lying and Aubrey who is Ethan's friend to help. Of course love came then a runaway marriage.

Not the book of the year but it was okay. My main issue with this one is this goes really fast. Like REALLY fast, pure insta love (and lust). But the 2 MCs are sweet together, and I love their dogs. Riley is the sweetest.
A lot going on in a short book, but I'm good with it because that's what I was asking for.

Wende I totally understand.
I hate doing the review... i'm not good to say why I loved or did not love a book...

I have a notebook and since do reviews straight away, the posts are just a lot of copy and paste for me so not too bad.
I only started doing reviews last winter for a challenge and have kept it up as habit now, grown to love writing them. Although i definitely repeat myself on certain parts in reviews, like my love of happy endings always how i finish most of them π
