Review:
Flora has been my favorite character in this series. I know Bea is the lead in the other books of the series. I adore Bea so very much but she is with her love now. Flora is going to find out who murdered Bea's former Sweetheart. (There is no such man) So she sets out and is saw on her first endeavor of her quest by Mr. Holcroft. Bea does not care for him as his breath on their one dance smelled like kippers. She even smells the undertones of fish. 😂😂 They worked through this mystery stopping a evil murderer and slowly find a friendship. I hope we see the relationship grow in the next book.

Yeah so this didn't really work out for me.
It had some good qualities. I liked the big family. I liked tons of the secondary characters. The mc's though? Yeah, I didn't really like them.
Chad was really annoying. Manipulating people to get what he wants. And Louis? Well I lost respect for him when he ran away.
The story itself was all over the place. Fake boyfriends? Yes. Best friends to lovers? Yes. Custody battle for the child? Yes. A bit of a mystery? Yes. It felt like the author just threw things in to make the book longer.
And Chad talking about banging girls? Yeah no. Pet peeve of mine but I don't want that in my M/M's.
There's a lot of formatting and editing that needs fixing. If it's something I have a problem with it's

People seem to enjoy this book though, so it might just be me. I wanted to like it. I really did.

It's typically the kind of book for which one I'll say "it's me, not the book". Because I have to admit, it's well written, and I have nothing bad to say about this.
But, I have nothing to say. It did nothing to me, I felt no connection, and there's so much back and forth, it was annoying (in my opinion). I feel bad because ladies, I know you liked it, but me, not that much...
