4 stars... I think.

I'm left being a little confused after reading this. On one hand. It was absolutely hilarious. It was sweet. It was light. Matt and Joel were great both on each own and together.
On the other hand... I wanted to strangle my kindle at times because the MC's were being stubborn and making rash decisions.
So yeah, might need some time to know what I actually feel.

Book: Swipe
Author: T.A. Moore
Pages: 226/GR
Date Finished: 11.01.20
How it fits: Published in December 2019
Rating: 4 stars

Review:
I like TA Moore style, and this one wasnt disappointing.
I liked the mystery/crime side of this book and the romance we really hot. @50% of the book, BOOOOM, didn't see it coming and it changed everything, but for the better. This is a series, but I'd like to know if/when the second book will be published, because I'd like to read more about these 2.
One negative point: Doc is too nice, like it's almost stupidity. He needs to be less naive.

Review:
I cried so much reading this book. Jane is suffering from magic cancer and she has to fight forces from the youngest son of.darkness. She is in so much pain. It was great to to see Angie baby and the new baby. She is one of my favorite secondary character until this book her little brother was outstanding. He is kidnapped in this book and he is so sweet. I knew they would get him back and dave him but it was wonderful to see how it all came together! Loved this book

MountainKat | 31598 comments While I hate the time change and I don't care which direction it goes, you all are benefiting from it today. Here is Task 19:

96. Read a minimum of 1200 pages with the sun or the moon on the cover, teams decide which.

As a team, select either sun or moon and read books with that item on the cover. You can use any edition's cover to qualify, but remember to use the first edition Kindle page count. Please include the qualifying cover in your completion post.

Review:
This book started out with a earthquake that only mages felt. This was because a.New group was trying to take over the key lines so they could control the world's magic. With that they could rule the world. Rosie of course was in their crosshairs and they tried to destroy her and make her a pawn for them. She may have been in their clutches but she did not play their games. I liked this book because she needed to depend on others to survive. Such a great book and a wonderful addition to the series.

Okay, I'm going to be brutally honest in this review. Sorry in advance.

This book was absolutely terrible. Like extremely terrible. Like bad. Very bad. I can't believe I actually finished it.
There's no plot until the last 10% of the book and then everything is happening so fast that you have no time to process what's actually happening.
The other 90%?
Well, it's basically Thomas and Tyler lusting after each other. But they can't, because they are step brothers. Or maybe they can? No they can. Yes they can.
Over and over and over and over again.

The most disturbing scene was the one with Simon though. (view spoiler)

Basically, I don't know why I keep reading books like this.

Completion Post - Task 19
The Carpenter’s Secret (Family Secrets, #1) by Noah Harris
Book: The Carpenter’s Secret
Author: Noah Harris
Pages: 157/GR
How it fits: Moon on the cover
Date finished: 07/11/20
Rating and Review: 3 stars

This was an okay read. Not bad, not great.
I liked both of the Mc's just well enough.
There's not a lot of dialogue though. Actually the whole book felt like a build up for following books in the series. It ended with a nice little HFN though.
Will I read the other books? Nope I probably won't. There's seven books left in this series. About the same couple. And it's probably just going to be crazier and more violent from here so I am totally contempt at leaving them here with there HFN.

Review:
Mallory wakes up as an Vampire which would be troubling to most people but she finds out when she goes to the doctor. A man from the paranormal police (sort of) shows up and basically gives her a card to call if she goes bloodthirsty and needs to be put down. Now mind you they don't tell she would be put down. Poor Mallory has a big problem as a vampire as she can not drink blood! None. So we go on the adventure of Mallory as she searches for a food she can survive on and to find the evil vampire that killed her. I loved this book!!!!
