Not a huge fan of historical but this one is good. Mostly because it's a mystery one and I love mystery. I liked both MCs, even if Merrick is my favorite. Crane senior and Hector are pure bastards, let's be honest, and Hat I like is the honesty of Crane about it. I'm a bit tired so I can tell much more but I'll certainly read book 2 😬

75. Read over 1000 pages in books that start with the same letter (no articles), teams decide letter.
As a team, decide on a letter and read over 1000 pages in books that begin with the selected letter. For this task you will be disregarding articles. So if you select A, Acrobat would work but A Few Good Fish would not. Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count. Please include the selected letter in your completion posts.

I'll read this one A Lethal Love"
Does not work as articles do not count

Okay so I have two books I really, really want to read for this task. Adding them both since I can't choose and then, I'll read one or both depending on if we need both or not.
Aiming High 222 pages.
Ache 244 pages

Review:
Barker & Llewelyn is such a wonderful new series. I leaped into the series on book 7. I wish I had started with book one. I will of course do so as soon as possible. In this book they are investigating Whitechapel murders or Jack the Ripper. The way London was on tenderhooks as city was groaning under the city's distrust of their Jewish neighbors. Thomas Llewelyn in love with a Jewish woman which colors his perception of the world around him. As the two detectives work with the police department I soon loved the way Thomas's voice shone through and told the story. His narrative brought this book alive to me.

Review:
This was like an episode of Gray's Anatomy and I was here for it.
Both Mc's were well thought out and had their own problems to fix before they could truly be with each other.
My only concern was that the epilogue was a little too fast and I would have wanted a bit more of a conclusion to their story.
Overall a great read. I'm reading these Hidden Creek books all over the place but it works.

Review: I've made a huge mistake, I read this one in French, and unfortunately, translation is not that good... it sucks because it's the 2nd time I read it and I love it, but the translation is bad (if I'm being honest).
But that said, I love them both and once again, I need to read the second book (that I haven't read yet!). My heart beats for Ian who is the real deal.

Don't know!
What I know is I need a new book, and I don't kow what to read... do I wait for the new task and the new bingo cat?
THAT is the question...

One I can fit Barbara Metzger books in 😂😂

90. Each member reads a book published in sequential months, i.e. June, July, August and September 2019. Teams decide which months. No pass for this task.
For this task you will be using the initial publication date. If there is a date listed at the top of the editions page use it, otherwise the qualification would come from the earliest dated English language edition. The books selected for this task need to be initially published in sequential months without skipping any month. They can cross over years if the first books were published at the end of a year and the last books published the beginning of the next. Please include the selected months/years in your completion posts.
