And Harry Potter has had huge impact on ..."
Yeah I would not have been choosing it if I had to buy the book. I won't ever buy anything Harry Potter again.

Yeah i agree completely, i will certainly not be buying anything of hers ever again.

It's this whole, long story but basically she's transphobic.

Oh, well, thanks for this information, good to know!

That sucks... Well I guess I won't buy books by her anymore.
Not that I have bought one in a loooooong time.
What a disappointment

I know it was. I will admit I cried. It is so sad when someone you held in great regard topples over.

Yes and one where I can read two books. I need to read something

Agreed, that would be good :)

Lol!

How it fits: Published in the 90's (1991) - Sorry Now? - 159 pages/GR for kindle edition
Rating and review: 4.5 stars
New to me author, and such a good one!
For sure I'll read the next one in this series. But you need to know it's not mainly a romance, mystery comes first, and personal life as well (MC has 2 kids, his priority).
Paul is such an amazing man, I'm falling in love with him, and I was surprised because it's an "old" book and it didn't feel like one (well, no cell phone, obviously).

You are a self starter Gustaf 😂😂

I totally understand, the writing is really good! I'm glad I chose this one

Thanks 😊

Well, there's no first edition for mine. It only says" first published in 1991" for the Kindle edition, and the ebook edition is the only one with a date in 1991,not the paperback one... So I'm not sure I have anything other than what I put in my post 😕

Im so sorry Gustaf, that not enjoying. Completely understand as can be confusing.
Its one of the rules to make fair among teams that use pg count/main link from first kindle edition.

No Gustaf, stay with us!!!!
I'm not sure about the kindle rules but at least there's new genres to read regularly

I did however change the page count to match the kindle edition and not the first hard cover. I guess that's how we are supposed to do it right?

Oh yeah, i noticed that. Sorry i meant to say keep the ebook for the qualification date, but link kidnle anyway for pgs of thats ok xx
Im so sorry to be a pain everyone, i just remember last time gets more strict on completions being right as progress. Last time i messed up mine once or twice, along with other teammates which meant then have to wait till back on to update posts so may mean longer gap between tasks.
Thats why im trying to be on it early so once Mkat gets stricter on those we are ready if that makes sense. I mess up too, so please do feel free to check mine and let me know as well 😊

Yeah thats right Gustaf, first kindle edition for pg counts xx

Im waiting to pick my ptp book to see if can double up too.

😂😂😂
You're right to read it.
I keep the books I really want to read for a time between two task. I really want to appreciate it/them, without the stress of a completion post

My feelings. I think maybe I should have done speedy 😂😂

And as for posting - I really don't care what edition you link to unless it is required for a specific task, like when you need a cover item. As long as you have the correct page count for the first edition Kindle listed in your post and a link to the book - all is good for me! I don't want this to be too stressful for anyone! 😊

2. Each player reads the first book in a series, can be same or different series - no pass for this task.
The books you select for this task need to be #1 or lower in a series listed on GR. Prequels are allowed as long as they meet the other challenge requirements.

My feelings. I think maybe I should have done speedy 😂😂"
Same. But the categories for regular are better suited for me. Less space and monsters and omegas and stuff lol.

Generally I think Harry Potter has a big enough fandom to stand on, on it own. Which I think is a very good thing, because they are such important books to so many people. I think it's important for the trans people in the fandom to own their story and their relationship to Harry Potter, based on the series it self, not the author. With that said I don't get it either. It's very sad.

Lol and of course we got this task, because im obviously not already in enough series... 😂
Thanks Mkat for explaining too, helps a lot! Xx
